The Family Nest

What happens when you and your siblings inherit the family nest? How do you learn to share again, and who creates the rules when you now co-own the very space you wanted to be free from?

Attorney,George Bearup is our special guest today. He’ll discuss the importance of having a formal family cottage agreement and exit strategy. If you’ve agreed to inheriting, it’s probably best to agree to a few other family rules. As we all know, being raised in the same house doesn’t guarantee the same mindset. Taking into account your different personalities and the in-laws will be imperative to planning.
